This song is about the death of Manshuk Mametova a WWII hero.
Originally this song was intended as an acoustic-only song, but then we felt it needs a kick in the chorus. So we dropped the original idea, while retaining as much as possible of the "acoustic" vibe.
Musicwise we experimented with additional instruments: udu for percussion, violin and cello (played by top notch Hungarian classical artist sometimes working on cinematic scores as well).
